Għannej Għannej is a series of ghana sessions staged by the Directorate for Cultural Heritage within the Ministry for Gozo. In this event, spread over four months, groups of singers every Sunday morning will be singing in the squares of the villages around Gozo.
The third session of Ghännej Ghännej will be on Sunday 12 March, at 11.30am, in Pjazza San Juzepp, Il-Qala.
The first session will be on Sunday, February 26 in St Francis Square, in Victoria City. Ghännej Ghännej comes to an end between the 19th and 21st of May, where on Friday a traditional meal is held in the picturesque villages of Santa Lucija while on Sunday there is a mass animated with ghana in the Church of the Heart of ‘ Jesus in the Fountain.
