Schola Cantorum Jubilate presents Ħenn Għalina, a Lenten concert featuring the male section of Schola Cantorum Jubilate (SCJ) and the SCJ Teenage Boys Singers, accompanied by Gino Mulè Stagno on the organ, Anna Magrin on the piano, and Fiona Murphy on the cello, all under the direction of SCJ Choir Conductor Marouska Attard.
The reflective repertoire includes pieces by Mummert, Lightfoot, Behnke, Pergolesi, Martini, Ravanello, Grancini, Hutchings, Nelson and Patterson, together with literary pieces by Joe Psaila.
Join us on the 24th of March for an evening of Lenten hymns, Gregorian chants and contemporary choral pieces beautifully intertwined with selected passages from the scriptures, poetry, and literature.
