The hilltop village of Xaghra will be once again hosting the Fig Festival – the 11th edition.
Xagħra village is synonymous with this festival and Victory Square will celebrate figs and culinary talent – combined with musical entertainment for all ages.
Hosted by the Xaghra Local Council, with the support of the Ministry for Gozo and Eco Gozo, the festival gets underway from 7pm onwards, on Saturday, the 24th of June 2023.
There will be musical accompaniment by George Curmi Il-Puse, folk dances, and children’s entertainment, amongst others.
